Vaison la Romaine, Vaison la Romaine is the historical city that was once the chief city of the Voconces area. Many Gallo-Roman ruins in their original settings, on 15 hectares of land.

The upper city is crowned by the Château of the Counts of Toulouse.

The upper city provides fantastic views of the entire site of Vaison. The Ouvèze river separates the upper medieval city from the Roman city and modern city.
