 Chief town for the canton. Bonnieux winds down the hill, and spreads across the Luberon, from the peak of the Luberon to the Plateau des Claparèdes and the banks of the Calavon River. Bonnieux is one of the most beautiful perched villages on the northern side of the Luberon. From Bonnieux there are magnificent views over the farming plains in the Calavon river valley, the Monts de Vaucluse and Mont Ventoux. The Gothic and Romanesque church overlooks the village, which stands at 425 m altitude and dominates the Lourmarin, pass, which is the only road through the Luberon range.

- Eglise Haute ou Vieille Eglise. On y accède par un escalier de 86 marches à l’ombre des cèdres centenaires.
- Table d’orientation au niveau du Belvédère.
- Eglise neuve (1870) renferme quatre primitifs du XIXème siècle provenant de l’Eglise Haute, représentant des scènes de la Passion.
- Vestiges des Tours et remparts du XIIIème siècle.
- Hôtel de Rouville du XVIIIème siècle (ancienne mairie)
- Musée de la Boulangerie
- Le Pont Julien ( An III av JC) dans la plaine, à 5 km.
- La Tour Philippe , construction d’un original à la fin du XIXème siècle.( ne se visite pas)
- La Forêt des Cèdres dans le Petit Luberon, à 6 km.
