15 km northwest of Apt, Lioux is a small village located inside the scope of the Luberon Regional Natural Park.  Lioux lies at the base of a massive rocky ledge which is 700 meters long, with heights of 100 meters – an impressive limestone cliff called the Madeleine cliff.
