The Côtes du Luberon : They were granted the A.O.C. in 1988, they cover 4181 hectares of vineyards growing on land in 36 different towns, all of which are located in the confines of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. The reds have brilliant color ranging from purple to ruby, with notes of red fruits, and are full-bodied. Reds account for 67% of the wine made. The rosés (20% of the wine) have a beautiful cherry color, and rank among the great Provençal rosé wines. The Luberon whites are very pale in color, with glints of green and hints of linden flower and anise. White wines account for 13% of the wine made.
